EMBER

A black porcelain vessel interrupted by a single restrained band of red, like warmth held beneath the surface.

Black Porcelain

Cast in black porcelain, Ember explores the power of restraint. A matte black surface is interrupted only once by a single band of deep red glaze—a quiet gesture that recalls lacquer, burning charcoal and the final glow of fading light.

Its slightly irregular profile preserves the softness of the handmade while allowing the material to remain the focus. The vessel is intentionally understated; every decision invites the eye to slow down.

Designed as both a functional vase and a sculptural object, Ember demonstrates how the smallest intervention can transform an otherwise silent form.
