CAIRN
A suspended volcanic form where weight appears to hover above the ground.

Handbuilt and reduced to its simplest geometry, Monolith I explores weight, erosion and stillness. A heavily textured volcanic surface contrasts with a precisely turned circular profile, creating a dialogue between geological time and deliberate human intervention. A discreet opening transforms the sculpture into a functional vessel, allowing a single stem or branch to become part of the composition without overwhelming its form.
